Zhovtyak A. Transport infrastructure in ensuring integration ties of the socio-economic development of the region

Aim: theoretical generalization and working up of practical recommendations to improve the control of socio-economic development of the region. It is done on the basis of identification of spatial factors and integration ties, provided by transport infrastructure. The object of the research is the process of functioning, progress and security of integration ties by transport infrastructure in the system of social-economic development of the region. The object of the research in the territorial organization of the security of integration ties of social-economic development of the region by transport infrastructure. Methods of the research are analysis, synthesis, generalization, logical simulation, evolutionary analysis, methods of graphical analysis, of comparative analysis, of structural analysis, taxonomic and matrix analyses. Scientific novelty is the development and implementation of the scientific methodical approach to the control of socio-economic development of regions, based on the estimation of integration ties which are provided by transport infrastructure and peculiarities of its concept. The application of well-founded methodical recommendations creates a theoretical foundation to improve the condition of the regional transport infrastructure and allows increasing the effectiveness of the state administration of economic development of regions on the basis of more complete implementation of transport potential. The results of the thesis are used in the performance of the Department of Economy and International Relations of Kharkov region administration, the Institute of Industrial Economy of the Ukrainian Academy of Science, the State Administration of Railway of Ukraine "Southern Railways" as well as in the educational process of O. M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkov.
