Essay

The thesis is devoted to increase of level of fire safety of the blind working which has been passed drilling-and-blasting and cutting ways. The expediency of study parameters and automatic means of powder fire extinguishing blind workings, which is caused by high material loss in a fire at them, the absence of these funds, despite the requirements of regulations governing their use is shown. The mathematical model of the exogenous fires which basis is the system of the differential equations of number of movement, heat conductivity, continuity and a condition of fire gases with regional conditions that allowed to choose type and the location of automatic fire extinguishing means is developed. Circuit decisions have been developed and taking into account results of theoretical researches of aerodynamic, hydraulic, thermal processes in blind workings parameters automatic the powder fire extinguisher of pumped type and fixed water extinguishing installation with a polydeflector sprinkler were determined. It is thus established that operating time of the fire extinguisher makes 25... 30 sec.
