Theoretical and methodological statements and practical recommendations of regulation of investment processes in the region in order to increase its investment attractiveness and efficiency of investment resources are developed; the scientific approaches how to define the sense of the investment process are summarized; the author's definition of this conception formulated; the definition of "regional integrated investment process" based on a synthesis of the project and regional approaches specified; factors that influence on the intensity of the integrated investment processes in the region are identified and structured; the relationship between them is set up; structural and dynamic features of the investment process in the regions of Ukraine are identified; methodical approach to the assessment of the investment climate in the region is developed and tested; the approaches to assessment the conformity of the processes of attracting investment with the regional needs are complemented; the interregional comparative analysis of the structural features of capital investment by economic activity is made; the mechanism of regulation of investment processes in the region developed; the economical and mathematical modeling for assessing the effectiveness of regulation of investment processes in the region is worked out; suggestions for improving the forms, tools and procedures of regulating investment processes on the territory are generated.
