Essay

The thesis deals with new solution of actual scientific neurosurgical problem - improvement of treatment outcomes of lumbar and radicular pain syndromes at protrusion of lumbar intervertebral discs in patients of different age on the basis of a differentiated application of minimally invasive transcutaneous surgical techniques. Clinical and neurological manifestations of the disease were compared with data of neurovisualising research methods that allowed to optimize indications for differentiated application of long-term epidural pharmacotherapy and puncture laser microdiscectomy in patients with discogenic pain syndromes. We grounded the methodology of differential application of certain minimally invasive transcutaneous treatment in patients with protrusion of intervertebral discs in the lumbar spine, depending on the degree of hydrophilicity of nucleus pulposus.
