Gorishсhak S. Partial neurorachischisis (clinical manifestations, diagnostics, treatment results)

The thesis deals with improvement of treatment results in newborns with partial neurorachischisis (PN) by optimizing of diagnostics and clinical study complex for differential use of surgical treatment methods. Clinical features and peculiarities of PN in newborns were analyzed. Optimal range of diagnostics methods in newborn with PN were specified. The criteria for optimal choosing of differential treatment tactics were determined. Complications and unsatisfactory results of surgical treatment in newborn with PN were analyzed. Immediate and long-term results of surgical treatment of children with PN were analyzed on the base of scales of "surgical treatment of infants with myelodysplasia" and "quality of life of children after neurosurgical operations". Immediate and long-term results of surgical treatment of children with PN, , their quality of life were improved. Main results of the study were introduced into neurosurgical practice.
