Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the development of theory and to investigation of peculiarities of processes of transition radiation, bremsstrahlung and ionization energy loss of ultra relativistic electrons with equilibrium and nonequilibrium electromagnetic fields. The explicit expression for bremsstrahlung spectral-angular density in prewave and wave zones during sharp scattering of ultra relativistic electron to a large angle under conditions when transversal radiation formation lengths have macroscopic size is obtained. It is shown that in this case the results of radiation characteristics measurements should significantly depend on size and position of the used detector. The explicit expression for spectral-angular density of transition radiation by 'half-bare' electron, which appeared after electron sharp scattering to a large angle, on thin plate situated on different distances from the scattering point is obtained. The possibility of manifestation of the 'half-bare' state of electron in its transition radiation is predicted and the conditions under which such manifestation could be observed are obtained. The possibility of manifestation of the state of electron with nonequilibrium field in its ionization energy loss in thin targets is also predicted.
