The thesis deals with researches of biological and ecological characteristics of Patio class roses in the conditions of the Right-Banc Forest-Steppe Zone of Ukraine. The background and origins of cultivars that belong to this garden class are established; the botanic characteristics are described; phenological rhythms of growth and development are researched in the conditions of the introduction region as well as adaptation to environmental factors' effects. The effective methods of propagation (by cuttings, by culture in vitro, by grafting) are worked out. The introduction prospects are evaluated.
