Mylnichenko S. Scientific and practical problems of development of the energy sector in the region

The thesis is devoted to researching of the problems of energy sector at the regional level functioning and development; it also devoted to development of conceptual ideas and practical recommendations to provide the energy security of Ukraine in an unstable environment, that based on scientific principles; the conceptual categories of research are studied and specified; the specification of energy saving potential determined; comprehensive methodological tools for indicative analysis of energy security are worked out; the taxonomical indicator of the development of energy sector in the region is proposed; the dominant trends of functioning and development of the energy sector in the region are determined; the clustering (by the energy security criterion) of district and cities of regional importance is made; the main problems of functioning and development of the energy sector is identified; the conceptual ideas of energy conservation in regions of Ukraine are elaborated; the priorities and fundamental provisions of the regional energy strategy are worked out; the regional economic mechanism of energy saving is improved; the priority measures of implementing the energy efficiency programs at the regional level are proposed.
