Essay

In the dissertation are presented the results of the investigations of scientific problem complex increasing quality of multisided not sharpened hard-alloy plates (MNHP) by using magneto-abrasive machining (MAM) in ring-type working area, which includes formation of the radiuses of cutting edge rounding with certain size and shape, microgeometry of working surfaces and their physical-mechanical properties, which provides raising of their durability. During process of MAM are formed the radiuses of cutting edge rounding with the value 50 - 60 µm and K-factor on the rectilinear cutting edge 1,6 - 2 and on the corner of the plate 1,2 - 1,4, surface hardness increases in 1,2 - 1,3 times. The solution to this problem were realized at the expense of investigation of kinematic parameters of the interaction magneto-abrasive tool with the machined surfaces, which are described by the integral estimation of intensity for tangential and normal components of speed and characterize the process by energy aspect. In the dissertation are defined the kinetic regularities of formation the quality parameters of MNHP, which depend on the conditions of locating and movement of workpieces in working area. The kinematic model of MAM in the large magnetic ring-type working areas was developed, which allows to determine the rational machining conditions, to carry out the forecasting the process with providing the necessary quality parameters. Was proved the possibility of increasing the intensity of machining at the expense of purposeful changes of the shape and properties of the magneto-abrasive tool due to the introduction in the working area the additional shape-generating rod element. Was proved the positive effect of the MAM on the increasing of exploitation properties and durability of MNHP in 2,5 - 3 times.
