Object of research - the process of forming tooth surfaces of a flat wheel approximate spiroid transmission. Subject of research - the components of the process of formation and their interaction with the elements of the tooth surface of a spiroid approximate spiroidnyh transmission flat wheel. The aim of this study is to streamline and simplify the kinematic scheme of formation of the surface of the cylinder spiroid transmission spiroid wheel teeth, by making the approximate transmission that will simplify the technology, increase the strength of the engagement, reduce the manufacture costs. Machine-tool engagement for shaping the surface of the teeth flat spiroid wheel, which line of teeth is a conic section, was defined and studied. Producing surfaces of tools, which form the lateral surface of the tooth wheels, make with producing instruments surfaces, which form the lateral surface of revolution spiroid worm, two mobile producing congruent pairs. The parameters of the processing tool wheel approximate spiroid gear are identified.
