Essay

This thesis addresses the development of mathematical models for spatial analysis of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the production of electricity and heat in Ukraine and Poland, which make it possible to take into account technological features of each emission source and geographical location of the studied enterprises. Spatial analysis of greenhouse gas emissions in the energy sector of the electricity and heat production in Ukraine and Poland with the use of GIS has been done. The mathematical models of greenhouse gas emissions caused by production of electricity and heat have been developed, that are based on presenting electricity generation plants as point emission sources, and settlements with central heat distribution as area-type emission sources.
