Essay

The thesis is devoted to improvement of electric power quality of DC traction substation by using selected closed automatic control systems to stabilize and reduce amplitudes of the harmonics in output voltage. The paper proposed to use a rectifier unit composed of booster converter based on a control rectifier which performed using PWM for bandwidth extension.
