Object - the process of forming a competitive social and medical services in cross-border area. Purpose - to study the theoretical and methodological foundations of competitive advantage in the border regions of social and health services and developments coordinate directions efficiency of an integrated system of social and health services in cross-border area of Ukraine. Results - developed by the author deals with the construction of the target system increase the competitiveness of social and health services in cross-border space can serve as a methodological and practical basis for setting objectives and instruments of regional and foreign policy of Ukraine in the field of social medicine, economic and analytical and prognostic work of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, State Service for disaster Medicine, departments of Health, external Relations and Foreign Economic Affairs governors. Novelty - identify trends creating competitive advantages of the border regions in the sphere of social and health services research competitiveness of the domestic market of social and health services in cross-border area, the formation mechanism of economic assistance and support of Ukrainian regions in terms of cross-border cooperation and functional model positioning Ukrainian regions in terms of improving the competitiveness of market social and medical services.
