Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the research of rare and disappearing species of the flora of Volyn Upland. It has been established that there are 197 rare and disappearing plants species which relate to 132 genera, 58 families and 5 groups growing on the Volyn Upland territory. The new species Leopoldia comosa (L.) Parl has been found for the first time in Volyn Upland flora. The chronological characteristic of the rare and disappearing species of the Volyn Upland is reviewed, as well as their geographical, biomorphological and ecologo-coenotic analysis.
