Kalinyuk I. Seismo-acoustic fields in horizontally-layered waveguides of shallow sea

The main objective of the thesis is to develop the methods and algorithms for calculation of seismo-acoustic pressure fields in a liquid part of a horizontally-layered medium caused by extended source located in an elastic half-space. Dependence of wave numbers of the normal waves, as well as zero and "effluent" waves from the depth of thesedimentary layer is obtained. For the model with the sound speed background profile typical of the Black Sea, the acoustic waves of GeoacousticEmission emerged in the vicinity of the elastic border may be captured by the underwater sound channel.
