Essay

Thesis work is addressed to the development of thermophysical and technological principles of energy efficient technology of receiving of materials through the pyrolysis of hydrocarbon gases. The output of pyrolyrsis products depending on temperature was experimentally defined on the laboratory facilities. It was determined that reactor with the electrothermal fluidized bed. is more energy efficient comparing to the reactors with the traditional technology of external heating. Constructed pilot reactor of pyrolysis allows to receive materials with wide range of pyrocarbon content from 2 to 90%wt. The content of waste gas was experimentally determined depending on the temperature of pyrolysis process. Application of thermodynamic analysis method using carbon potential have resulted in the detection of new process characteristic - efficiency of solid carbon creation process. The technology allows receiving carbon oxidic compositions, e.g. stock for carbothermic reduction of metals from thermodynamically stable oxides, and protection pyrocarbon surface on the microspherical fuel for nuclear reactors in perspective.
