The thesis reveals the solution of scientific task of determining the physical parameters dynamics and changes that influence the formation and the level of energy losses in the basic elements of power supply systems, depending on the exploitation term and conditions. The analysis of the formation and changes of energy losses in power supply systems is executed. It is shown that a number of technical and operational factors affect the amount of energy losses in power supply system elements, including the ageing and deterioration of the elements. It have been determined the dependence of the dynamics of the active power losses value in overhead transmission lines on the exploitation term and the corrosion rate of aluminum aerial conductors in accordance with their initial physical characteristics; the level of influence of the exploitation term and the power transformers magnetic cores rework service on increasing the no-load losses. The analytical dependences for correcting the power losses in magnetic cores of long operated power transformers have been deduced. The researches of the impact of the instrument transformers critical operating conditions and electromagnetic processes in power circuits on the formation of commercial losses of electricity have been completed.
