Essay

The aim of the thesis is to develop a personal heat transfer rate alarm device for fire-protective clothing. It can help to saves lives and health of firefighters and to increase tactical possibilities of fire-fighting units. A mathematical model for determining the intensity of the heat transfer rate depending on the distance to the fire, type of the flame and the heat transfer receiver location has been created. Output parameters for manufacturing of the heat transfer rate alarm device suitable for use in conditions of high heat exposition have been defined.
