Petrunyak V. Integrated processing and interpretation of seismic and well log data in order to specify petroleum prospective of the southern cutoff part of the Dnieper-Donets Basin (by the example of Lyvenska field)

The thesis is devoted to the solving of an actual problem - development and enhancement of methodical background of reliability and authenticity of building complex permanent operating models of petroleum fields in the geological environment of southern cutoff part of Dnieper-Donets Basin (by the example of Lyvenska field). Integrated methodology of processing and interpretation of seismic and well log data and their further integration into permanent operating model of Lyvenska field is being reviewed. New seismic processing graph accounting seismologic and geological conditions of the southern cutoff part of DDB is presented. Seismic facies analysis of amplitude characteristics and seismic inversion were used for lithological identification of the rocks based on real data from Livenska field. Effectiveness of the developed methodology was confirmed by qualitative and quantitative changes in petroleum indicators of the studied field with the use of seismic and well log data.
