Essay

The thesis is dedicated to increase the efficiency of the sugar factory by improving automation systems by using algorithms, procedures, methods of coordination and methods of situational control. Technological complexes (TC) of food industry is a complex system. Separate subsystems, each of which has its own criteria for management, mathematical models and restrictions, can be picked out from TC. Subsystems of TC have numerous connections among themselves on material and energy flows, as well as the impact on the quality indicators of intermediate product and finished product. Mutual connections between subsystems are the most essential when the efficiency of TC is assessing. At the same time, reciprocal connections between subsystems in food indusdtry in the automated TC actually are not captured, there is no coordination of their work, which greatly reduces the technical and economic performance indicators of automated TC. System-technological analysis of TC and indexes of its performance are done, decomposition of TC is performed, coordination criteria is formed, algorithms and software for the system of coordination of TC subsystems of sugar factory with support system for diffusion and evaporation units are performed to solve the coordination task.
