The present thesis is the first research that focuses on analysis of structural and semantic peculiarities of noun phrases nominating a human in the detective novel. Distributional models of phrases with prepositional, post-positional and two-sided distribution of modifiers have been built. Structural types of noun phrases and their distributional models typical for the texts of the three authors have been defined.
