Taranenko A. Agroecological assessment of soil biota on the agricultural land of Poltava region

The work is devoted to the study of the functional activity of soil biota with the aim to assess the soil condition of agricultural land. During the study the informative bioindicators: earthworms (Lumbricidae), microarthropods (Collembola), ecological and trophic structure of soil microorganisms were justified and selected, which play a crucial role in the formation of soil fertility. Monitoring of soil biota functional activity on the agricultural land of Poltava region was conducted. The scientific position as to comprehensive evaluation of soil based on the functional activity of macro-and mesofauna, microflora was developed. It was conducted the calculation of the integral index of ecological and biological condition of soil.
