In dissertational work the experimental and theoretical research of influence of the state of treads wheel pair on the horizontal level, the cross of forces of interaction between the elements of the track and rolling stock in operation on Railways of Ukraine. Received further development of the theory of modeling the impact of treads wheel pairs on stability of motion of the wheel pair at interaction with rail track. The paper describes a new solution of a scientific problem of influence of the state of wheel pair tread surface on stability of motion of the wheel pair. It is proved that the stability of motion of the wheel pair at considerable wear of the wheelset is reduced. Experimental researches of wear of the wheelset rolling stock wheel pairs, studied the intensity of wear depending on the mileage of the locomotive. On the basis of the obtained data on the condition of wheel pair tread surface made the calculations to determine the lateral forces of interaction of rail track and wheel pairs in combination with different speeds, radii of the curves of the track sections and various types of rails. The received experimental and theoretical results allow us to estimate the force interaction of rail track rolling stock, and to determine the rational geometrical sizes of the tread surface, wheel pair in operation.
