Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to the creation and research of computer-controlled desktop milling machines, built on a modular principle, including mechanisms of parallel structure (MPS). The dissertation presented research, focuses on the synthesis of new layout of machines that are based on the use of frame systems, MPS and modular principle. The criteria of selecting the best variants of machines was created; identified the influence of the geometrical parameters of the frame system to its rigidity; mathematical formulas developed for computer control of machines with MPS; created a new universal linear module.
