Nakapelyukh M. The Palaeostress Evolution and geodynamic model of South-East Part of the Ukrainian Carpathians

The object of research is flysch (Cretaceous-Oligocene) and molasses (Neogene) deposits of fold-thrust belt of southeast part of the Ukrainian Carpathians and their foredeep. The aim of the thesis is the reconstruction of regional palaeostress fields of southeast part of the Ukrainian Carpathians, Carpathian foredeep and construction geodynamic model of the area. During fault-slip analysis in study of the mesostructure used structural-paragenetic and kinematic methods. During the construction of geological cross-sections used balanced and forward modeling methods. As a result of research based fault-slip analysis is general chronological scale of the deformation regimes of the study area. After the forward modeling based on balanced and restored cross-sections the geodynamic models of southeast part of the Ukrainian Carpathians was built, taking into account the results fault-slip research.
