Essay

Object of research - technology and equipment for thermochemical destruction (TChD) of shredded worn tires (ShWT). Objective - to improve energy efficiency of the process and equipment for TChD ShWT. Research methods - methods of calculating the volumetric heat transfer coefficients, the coefficients of hydraulic resistance, based on the theory of heat conduction and fluid dynamics, finite element method for mathematical modeling of the thermal state of the reactor wall, the method of correlation and regression analysis of the experimental data. Theoretical and practical effects - developed in the thesis recommendations for improving the energy efficiency of the process and equipment for TChD ShWT can be used when creating a new and modernization of existing equipment for recycling tires utilization. Novelty - established modes of equipment for TChD ShWT, characterized by the minimum total unit energy costs for grinding and destruction of rubber, substantiated rational parameters reactors TChD. The degree of implementation - the results are used in the SE «UkrRTC «Energostal» in the development of design documentation and PRPE «Fantomash» in the manufacture of industrial plant TChD-ShWT-600. Area of application - power engineering.
