Kvasnii Z. Assessment and prediction of the impact of small business on the regional economy.

The dissertation is dedicated to the analysis of the theoretical foundations of small business functioning in the current economic conditions, the financial and economic status of small business in regional terms, evaluation of trends and factors of region economic development, and formation of the ways of efficiency increasing of small business at the regional level.Peculiarities of small business functioning in the current economic conditions, allowing to suggest the ways of the efficiency improving of small businesses at the regional level have been uncovered. The barriers research of small business development, allowing to improve diagnosis of the financial and economic state of small business in regional terms have been realized.It has been investigated the relation ship of small business sector and foreign investment to employment and economic growth in the regions by constructing of a space-time panel models with eventual effects.The model of the relationship differentiation in small business sector and the regional level through the using of DEA method for studying the effectiveness of the regional economy and its temporal changes has been operated.The ways of improving the efficiency of small business functioning at the regional level, based on the inter-sectoral movement developing processes to improve of technological efficiency have been suggested.
