Danko-Yutish N. Innovative basics of regulation of social and economic asymmetries of regional development

Object of study: the processes of formation of inter-regional asymmetry of social and economic development in Ukraine. The purpose: improving the theoretical and methodological foundations of regulation of social and economic asymmetry of regional development and justification of innovative mechanisms to reduce it. Methods: systematic, logical generalization, analysis, comparison and synthesis, structural and factor analysis, strategic analysis, structural and functional, graphic. Novelty: for the first time developed conceptual foundations for managing innovative adaptive capacity of the region, including a set of principles, functions, forms and methods of influence on social and economic processes in the region, providing increasing of its competitiveness in the national and world economic space, improved classification of types of social and economic asymmetry of regional development on such criteria as: the nature of manifestation, object of comparison, evaluation methods, direction of motion, field of comparison, dynamic characteristics of manifestation, scientific principles of regional policy by distinguishing adaptive-selective approach to its implementation, which involves the use of differentiated instruments for regulating social and economic development of regions, depending not only on their level of development, but also on the efficiency of the existing system of regional management. Scope: in activities of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Science and Education in developing a comprehensive program of innovative regional development in the long run, Chernivtsi Region State Administration in developing of Program of economic and social development of the Chernivtsi region for 2012 and the draft of Regional Program of Innovation Development to Chernivtsi region for 2015, Program of economic and social development of the Chernivtsi region for 2014, in the learning process of private educational institution "Bukovyna University".
