Lazebnaya E. Evaluative adverbs in modern German Standard German and Austrian German

The thesis deals with the problem of revealing sociolinguistic and lingvo-stylistic peculiarities of functioning positive / negative evaluative adverbs and participles, combined with a variety of lexical-semantic groups of verbs (visual perception, emotional and mental state, movement, etc.) in modern German Standard German and Austrian German. Evaluative adverb refers to a unit, which is embedded in the semantics of evaluating the potential characteristics of an action, a process or a state, expressed by the verb. The proofs and facts that confirm the detection of nonidentity elements, differences of Austrian and German systems on the level of evaluative adverbs / evaluative participles in texts in combinations with all 30 verbs have been introduced. The significant differences in the semantic filling of lexical syllables of evaluative adverbs / evaluative participles in combinations with mentioned verbs in German Standard German and Austrian Standard German have been revealed.
