Object of study: the functioning process of special purpose computer systems. Objective: models, methods and tools for special purpose computer systems (SPCS) functioning to extend uptime of the remote modules with the limited energy supply. Scientific novelty of the results: the mathematical model of special purpose computer systems functioning with the limited energy supply was obtained, which, describes special purpose computer systems subject to possible power restrictions of the remote modules. The model of special purpose computer systems CAD system was improved by providing additional relationships among modules and by adding control and calculation of energy parameters module. The model of task dispatching process of special purpose computer systems was improved. Models of functioning of the remote module when dealing with periodic and random tasks due to the introduction of additional restrictions, which increased the time of working of remote modules was developed. The method of remote module dislocation was improved by placing modules in points, where the chance of perturbation is the highest, which reduces the response time of the system to perturbations. The practical significance of the results: developed models and methods have expanded scientific and technical basis of the SPCS design and functioning, studies implemented in industry and learning process.
