Essay

Object of study - elastic closed shallow circular conical shell (perfect and imperfect) with various boundary conditions under external pressure, and software ANSYS and LIRA. The aim of the thesis - to clarify the calculation of the stress-strain state and buckling of elastic closed shallow circular conical shells (perfect and with the initial geometry deflections of the middle surface) under the external transverse pressure and with different boundary conditions. Assess the applicability of software ANSYS and LIRA for numerical simulation of considered problems. Research methods - numerical experiment and its analysis in ANSYS and LIRA. Theoretical and practical results: confirmation of high efficiency of software ANSYS based on a comparison with the physical experiment. Implementation of refined buckling calculations of real conical shells on account of a number of factors that influence on the value of critical and limit loads. The results obtained are recommended for use in the design of various types of conical shells in the construction, engineering and rocket production. Scientific novelty - new qualitative and quantitative data on deformation and buckling of considered shells under external pressure, perfect and with different initial deflections of middle surface at 5 different boundary conditions. The degree of implementation: results are in use at lecturing to students of Pridneprovskaya State Academy Civil Engineering and Architecture. At the enterprise Co Ltd "Ukrrezervuarservis" when choosing the design parameters of the coverings of tanks under development, as well as for the evaluation and analysis of the technical condition of the coverings of operated tanks. Application: tanks, chemical industry machines, rocket and aviation technology.
