Essay

The thesis is devoted to problems of rock destruction by blast-hole charges of emul-sion explosives (EE) with chemical gasification based on solid hydrocarbons in terms of drifting faces in coal mine, which are safe to gas explosion and ignition of coal dust. The theoretical evaluation for the formation of additional noxious fumes during chemical bonds opening when detonation products interacting with newly formed surfaces of destructed rocks is given. The algorithm of the numerical simulation of shock loading in rocks is devel-oped. It makes possible to estimate the threshold pressure, at which there is the ther-moelastic destruction of rocks in the near field of explosion. Comprehensive experimental and theoretical investigation of physical, chemi-cal and explosive properties of EE is organized and carried out. The results allowed to pick out the formulation of cartridged EE for usage as blast-hole charges. The rec-ommendations for optimizing the explosive characteristics and efficiency of blast-hole charges of cartridged EE during the destruction of coal-bearing mass of different strength in drifting faces of SOE "Sverdlovantratsit" mines are elaborated. The economic effect of the cartridged EE "ЕРА" implementation on SOE "Sverdlovantratsit" is 54 UAH/rm of underground working, which is 40±5% less compared with explosive characteristics, including ammonites 6GW.
