Processes of strategic management of a metallurgical enterprise are a research object. Research methods: theoretical generalization, scientific abstraction, induction and deduction, comparative and structured systems analysis, complex, systems and functional approach, methods of supervision, grouping and coefficient analysis, scenario approach and methods of economic analysis, methods of set theory and linear programming, methods of planning and expert judgements. Results: the conception of strategic management by a metallurgical enterprise is developed, the methodical approach of innovative development management by a metallurgical enterprise, methodical approach of marketing strategy management by a metallurgical enterprise, controlling mechanism of process of advanced training and retraining of workers by a metallurgical enterprise, economic-organizing support of strategic planning by a metallurgical enterprise are improved. Practical meaningfulness of work is determined by introduction of its results in activity of the metallurgical enterprise.
