Chushenko V. The social and economic development of the region based on the realization of innovative potential

The thesis is a manuscript in which theoretical and methodological basis for the formation and use of innovative potential of the region are grounded; the economic concept of "social and economic potential of the region", "scientific potential of the region" are sophisticated; the methodological approach to the assessment of the level of innovativeness of social and economic development of the region is improved; the trends in social and economic development of the regions of Ukraine are researched, the general analysis of innovation and scientific potential is conducted; the hierarchical model of object-to-subject interaction in the system of management of scientific potential of the region is theoretically grounded , that reflects relationship and potential effects of coordination that motivate and initiate the subordination of objects and subjects of the development of the regional economic system; the organizational mechanism of management the innovation system of the region is developed, due to it the scientific and educational institutions of the region are informatively connected, the industrial complexes and enterprises, financial institutions, regional authorities, patent and licensing bodies, the media, foundations, in order to strengthen the innovative potential of the region; the mechanism of management of scientific potential of the region, based on a combination of sectoral and cluster approach to economic development of the region in the formation of the regional innovation system is proposed.
