Essay

Subject – physical laws of structure and magnetic properties formation. Objective – determination of С, Ti, Cu alloying elements influence on fundamental characteristics of Nd2Fe14B base magnetic phase and methods for their introduction into magnet in order to reach optimal structure and magnetic properties. Methods - metallographic analysis; mesurement of microhardness, scanning-electron and optical microscopy, X-ray structure and X-ray spectrometry analyses; magnetic measurements. Influence was investigated of С, Cu, Ti alloying elements on fundamental characteristics of Nd2Fe14B base magnetic phase. Specifics were determined of Nd-Fe-B system alloy phase formation depending on crystallization conditions. Relationship was detected between composition, structural phase characteristics and magnetic properties. Field – research in the domain of nonequilibrium phase trasformation, sent to the increase on fundamental characteristics of Nd-Fe-B system aiioy, development of the process for the production of sintered magnets and resin-bonded magnets, educational process.
