Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of dust-gas flow in the off-gas removal system of electric arc furnaces (EAF). In order to reduce and localize dust-gas emissions the concept of EAF aspiration system with increased and distributed suction surface of the exhaust duct was proposed. A mathematical model and calculation method of the exhaust duct parameters with uniform gas suction were developed.
