Essay

The thesis is devoted to developing energy-efficient model for BOF process. In the thesis fuzzy models of regulation of CO2 in flue gases and FeO content in the slag in BOF are developed, which allow increasing the share of scrap in the charge. Established that both parameters depend on the distance of the lance above the melt, so a single Controlling act is used during the purging process management.Revealed that decarbonization process is non-stationary, the transfer coefficient and time constant depends on the period and duration of purging, which determined the using of fuzzy logic controller. Fuzzy models are designed in an interactive system Matlab. Control systems were composed and simulation modeling was made in Simulink to test the fuzzy controller. Also the composite control system with PID controller was studied and the quality criterion was defined.
