The thesis is devoted to the study of the current state of rare species of Carlina L. (Carlina onopordifolia Besser ex Szafer, Kulcz. & Pawl., Carlina cirsioides Klokov.) coenopopulations in Ukraine. The study of chorological, environmental, cоenotical features, age and spatial structure of Carlina onopordifolia Besser ex Szafer, Kulcz. & Pawl., Carlina cirsioides Klokov coenopopulations was conducted. The current state of species distribution in Ukraine was specified.
