Pustovit I. Ecological and social evaluation of rural settlements territories of Northern part of Ukraine

The dissertation has scientific, methodic and content solutions worked out on the basis of conducted ecological researches that allow estimating of social and ecological situation and its evolution dynamics for any rural settlement of Ukraine. During researches scientifically grounded indexes were used for estimation of rural settlements territories of Northern part of Ukraine, basement tables were worked out to compare the received data with regulatory values. Next groups are used for ecological estimation: conditions of land use, agrochemical, radiological, toxicological, sanitary and hygienic condition. Social groups include demographic, infrastructure and social and economic land condition marks. Using the calculated General Integral Ecological and Social Index (GIESI) one can characterize ecological and social situation of rural settlement territory for determination of further development prospective of the following marks: (0 less І less/equal 1 marks) - ecological and social disaster; (1 less IІ less/equal 2 marks) - critical condition; (2 less IIІ less/equal 3 marks) - unsatisfactory; (3 less IV less/equal 4 marks) satisfactory; (4 less V less/equal 5 marks) - good condition. Evaluation of rural settlements of Zhytomyr and Kyiv region was performed. Electronic passport was created in Microsoft XL program.
