Rushchak M. Reactions of copper (І, ІІІ) species with cyanine dyes and their analytical application

The dissertation is devoted to the development of new sensitive and selective procedures for the determination of copper species (I, III) with using of their reactions with cyanine dyes. The regularities of copper (I) reactions with some cyanine dyes have been investigated, halide ionic associates as result of these reactions have been formed. On the grounds of studied reactions optimal conditions of extraction-photometric determination of copper (I) have been investigated. Simple and reliable procedures of copper (I) determination in semiconductors and environmental objects have been developed. Red-ox reactions of copper (III) with cyanine dyes have been first studied and possibility of copper (III) quantitative determination has been showed. The developed spectrophotometric and extraction-photometric procedures have very good analytical and metrological characteristics, respond to modern requirements of sensitivity and detection limit and may be used for copper (III) determination in superconductors.
