Object - the process of ensuring regional development of creative industries. Purpose - determination of theoretical positions and development of practical recommendations for assuring regional development of creative industries. Methods - logical generalization, synthesis, analysis, comparison, induction, deduction, economically statistical, graphic and cartographic, programmatic-having а special purpose, economic-mathematical modeling. Novelty - development of theoretical and methodological bases of functioning creative industries at the regional level. Results - analyzes theoretical approaches to the exploration of essence and preconditions of development of creative economy; highlighted creative industries as a basis for development of creative economy and analyzed their influence on the development of territorial public systems; analyzed the system for ensuring the development of creative industries in the region; formed methodological approaches, according to which conducted evaluation of regional development of creative industries in Ukraine; provided modeling of the impact of creative industries on socio-economic development of regions; substantiated strategic alternatives of development of creative industries in the regions; developed mechanisms and defined the set of tools for implementing the proposed strategies for the development of creative industries in the region.
