Essay

The thesis deals with the study of spatial-temporal distribution of atmospheric aerosol over Ukraine by the ground-based and satellite observations during 2003-2012. For the first time, we analyze the data obtained by ground-based network AERONET (AErosol RObotic NETwork) and portable Microtops II sunphotometer over several Ukraine regions. Aerosol data processing, filtering and calibration techniques are developed to increase accuracy of aerosol parameters received by Microtops II measurements.
