Sigalova I. Agroecological evaluation of the state of residential areas under the influence of industrial production

The dissertation is devoted to the substantiation of industrial production influence on agroecological condition of residential areas. The areas with maximum anthropogenic load on ecological condition of the main components of residential agroecosystems in Bila Tserkva (air, soil, water, plant products) are defined. These areas are located in close proximity to the enterprises and automobile roads. The main contamination sources of atmosphere air, soil, and potable water and plant products by toxic substances are determined. It is found that greater parts of soil in private households are well equipped with mobile forms of phosphorus and potassium. Depending on the intensity of organic and mineral fertilizers usage in private households, the content of these elements in soil varies within 83-2400 and 65-1675 mg/kg, consequently. The water from wells is hard and very hard where the MPC excess is 75% by nitrate content and 33% - by chloride content. Plant products are contaminated by nitrates and heavy metals. The dissertation provides a detailed analysis of the estimation of residential areas condition according to socio-demographic indicators of development.
