Essay

The dissertation work is devoted to important scientific and applied problem -improving the accuracy of ultrasonic flowmeters by elimination of additional error of flow measurement caused by flow structure distortion. The method for determination of the coordinates of location of acoustic channels of ultrasonic flowmeters and their weight factors is improved. Therefore it was increased the accuracy of integration of flow velocity profile particularly in conditions of its structure distortion. The methodology of improving of mathematical model of ultrasonic flowmeter based on CFD-modeling results and available reference data about measured flowrate is proposed.
