Mala J. Phytoecological analysis of the boundary between forest-steppe and steppe zones of the right bank of Dnipro region of Ukraine

A quantitative evaluation of the boundary between Forest-Steppe and Steppe was established. The floristic features, phytocoenotic structure and ecological characteristics of habitats calculated on the basis of synphytoindication. The ecological features areal-border forest and steppe species in the southern and northern boundary of their distribution have been analyzed. The classification scheme of steppe, shrubs and forest vegetation have been developed. The environmental features of south Forest-Steppe, ecotone and north Steppe were established. The boundary between Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones of the right bank of the Dnipro region of Ukraine are grounded and refined.
