The thesis deals with the solution of such a scientific problems as improving the efficiency of the functioning of screw conveyers in the extreme conditions of their operation by means of the development and the substantiation of the rational parameters of the safety clutch of a screw conveyer working body. In order to solve this problem, was conducted of the interdependence between the value of the mechanical and kinematic and characteristics of power parameters of the safety clutch was ascertained. Experimental and industrial testing of the designed safety clutch of a screw conveyer was conducted and its technical and economical indices were determined.
