Omelkovets O. Social, political, information and publishing activities of "Smoloskyp" societies in France and the United States (1950-1980)

The first work in the national historiography, based on the documents submitted in Ukraine by foreign Ukrainian national organizations, epistolary heritage from personal collections of outstanding figures of the Ukrainian diaspora and found in central and State Archives of Ukraine, activities of "Smoloskyp" societies in France and the United States of America is investigated. The youth page "Smoloskyp" in the weekly "Ukrainian word", publishing house "Smoloskyp" named after Vasyl Symonenko, Ukrainian Information Service "Smoloskyp" are reconstructed and shown their impact on the social, political, cultural and educational movement in Ukraine in 1950-1980's.
