Essay

The thesis deals with a comprehensive study of Kharkiv urban flora and its anthropogenic transformation with systematic, biomorphological, geographical, ecological, fractional, zonal analysis and analysis about time of immigration, mode of immigration, degree of naturalization. There has been a species composition determined that includes 1094 species of vascular plants. There has been an assessment of anthropogenic transformation of Kharkiv flora carried out that examines the resistance of species towards urbanization and the degree of cultivation with the use of indices of anthropogenic transformation.
