Dvirna T. The alien fraction of the flora of the Romensko-Poltavsky Geobotanical District and its invasive potential

The alien fraction flora of the Romensko-Poltavsky Geobotanical District is represented by 345 species of vascular plants belonging to 208 genera and 62 families. The systematic, florogenetic, geographical, biomorphological, and eco-coenotic analyses as well as the analysis of alien species of flora fractions by the time and mode of their introduction and by the degree of naturalization were performed. Eight species are considered highly invasive and two sp. are potentially invasive, and conducted their analyses.A comprehensive survey of Asclepias syriaca was conducted. The assessment of the environmental impact of alien species of the region has been done according to An Invasive Species Assessment Protocol (2004).
