Essay

T It has been first described that due to the development of the chronic pancreatitis statistically significant redistribution of soluble and membrane form of the NCAM occurs, most pronounced in the cerebellum and thalamus of animals that led to the changes in cell-cell adhesion in these brain regions. An increase in the levels of S-100b and the soluble form of GFAP has been found along with the redistribution between the filament and soluble fractions of GFAP in brain regions, which may be among the causes of pancreatic encephalopathy. In the pancreas increase in the S-100b and filaments contents and decrease in the soluble forms of GFAP has been found, which indicates depolymerization of the intermediate filaments in glial cells of the peripheral nervous system of the organ in question. Redistribution of affinity for hyaluronate was observed in the membrane fraction proteins: in the cerebellum and thalamus - decreasing, and in the hippocampus - sensitization to glycosaminoglycans.
